Taster LessonÂ
The economics course starts with the fundamentals of defining economic activity and establishing what the purpose of economic activity should be before developing increasingly more complex models to enable us to predict and respond to events in any given market and in the global economy.
Lessons usually involve problem solving exercises, class discussion and the input of information through a variety of media before students are invited to think critically about the content they have been taught and apply their new abilities practically to possible exam questions.
While we are holding taster sessions in college for prospective students this year, we understand that some of you may not be able to attend or may have chosen to visit other subjects.
In light of this, we provide the below power-point including a range of activities and resources to give you a broad sense of what studying economics at Farnborough is like. Please feel free to contact us if you have any further questions.
