Chemistry (A level)

The A Level chemistry course enables you to develop essential knowledge and understanding of different areas of chemistry and how they relate to each other. The course also provides wider context for chemistry in society and the economy. You will develop your competence and confidence in a variety of practical, mathematical and problem-solving skills.

The specification is divided into topics, each covering different key concepts in chemistry. Practical skills are taught alongside theoretical topics and practical work is assessed through both written papers and a Practical Endorsement.
