9/22/21 FSD Covid Related Data

FSD COVID related data indicates a significant decrease in both positive student cases and student quarantines since the mask requirement. To date the district has approximately 3.5% of school contacts which have resulted in a positive case. (17 out of approximately 442 students) At this time, our transmission rates remain low as indicated below.

  • The total number of student positive cases to date is 94. 61 students were positive when mask requirements were implemented with 17 as of 9/22/21.

  • The total number of student quarantines to date is 852. 205 students were quarantined from a school contact when mask requirements were implemented with 15 as of 9/22/21.

The Farmington School District will continue to work toward providing a safe and nurturing learning environment throughout the school district. We will continue to work with the local health departments related to updated State and Federal guidance as well as guidance from the CDC. We will continue to look at COVID trends both locally and regionally and make decisions which are in the best interest of Students and Staff. Updates regarding these decisions will be posted to this portion of our website.
