Larry Seljevold: Head Coach, Pole Vault
Coach Seljevold has 40 years of coaching track and field at various levels. He has previously been head coach at West Fargo (1981-1985), and Fargo North (1999-2003). Coach Seljevold was the 1985 ND Boys’ Co-coach of the Year, and the 2018 EDC Coach of the Year. He is a graduate of Concordia College. He was also an NDSU Graduate Assistant in Men’s Track and Field. Coach Seljevold is married to his wife Karen, and they have two adult children and a granddaughter. He is currently a physical education teacher at Jefferson.
Tyler Kosel: Sprints
Coach Kosel is a graduate of Valley City State where he played football. He just completed his first year as Head Football Coach at Fargo South.
Mike Grant: Hurdles, Long Jump
Coach Grant has coached track for nine years. He began his high school coaching career at Devils Lake for two years, and is in his seventh year at Fargo South. He has experience coaching boys and girls hurdles, boys and girls long jump, and boys triple jump. He is in his eigth year teaching at Jefferson where he has taught 4th and 3rd grade. He is married to his wife Dani, and has two boys, Alex and Ben.
Jessica Myxter: High Jump, Triple Jump
Coach Myxter is in her 12th year coaching track at South (5th year coaching boys). It is also her 12th year teaching math at Fargo South. Along with coaching triple jump and high jump, she has coached hurdles and sprints in the past. Coach Mxyter graduated from MSUM where I competed in track and basketball. She is married with two children.
Cameron Dockter: Shot Put, Discus
Coach Dockter brings a wealth of experience in his third stop coaching track and field for the Bruins. Having served as head coach of the boys track and field team, he has won EDC coach of the year and led the bruins to an EDC championship.
Dusty Swanson: Distance
Coach Swanson is alsos the Head Boys Cross Country Coach for Fargo South. He has also served as an assistant wrestling coach for Fargo South. He is the father of two children.
