The Franklin & Marshall softball team (3-7) returns from Florida to prepare for a midweek doubleheader at Cabrini (7-5) Thursday at 3:00 p.m.

Last Week

Franklin & Marshall kicked off its season with 10 games in the Sunshine State as the Diplomats competed in the Spring Games. F&M earned a 3-2 win in the first game of the season as the Diplomats took down Hamilton, 3-2, in eight innings. The Diplomats pushed across the winning run on a bunt from Devon Witt to walk-off the Continentals. Read the full recap here.  

F&M held off Geneva to win 4-3 on Monday. The Diplomats plated all four runs in the bottom of the second inning to claim the early advantage in the contest. Jaden Spigner and Francesca Testa each tallied an RBI in the win. Ainsley McClure was the winning pitcher, striking out five in a complete game effort. Read the full recap here. 

The Diplomats went on to beat Lake Forest, 7-2, on the final day of the Spring Games. F&M hit three home runs in the game off the bats of Kat Gunther (two) and Kayla Kilmer (one). Alexa Klepper and Claire Sulliven also recorded an RBI in the win. Aliza Sheflin picked up her first win of the season in the circle, striking out eight and allowing one earned run in a complete game showing. Read the full recap here.
