Maintain a budget of expenses and oversee all matters of Congress finance including allocation and distribution of the budget.
Provide The Congress with an overview of the budget at General Assembly meetings should there be an inquiry.
Oversee Class Cabinet budget operations through frequent communication and guidance on the budgeting process.
Sit on the Budget Priorities Committee (BPC).
Be charged with allocating funds to the Committees of The Diplomatic Congress.
Be a voting Member of the Congress.

Interpret the Constitution, Bylaws, and proposals of the Diplomatic Congress and ensure that all Diplomatic Congress actions are in accordance with the Constitution, its Bylaws, and Robert’s Rules of Order.
Conduct a regular review of the Diplomatic Congress Constitution, Bylaws, and proposals.
Evaluate, help to draft, present, and interpret all formal amendments to the Constitution and Bylaws.
Oversee the Policy Action Committee.
Create and execute an orientation program to familiarize new members with the protocols and procedures of The Diplomatic Congress.
Serve as the Historian of the Congress and ensure the integrity of all congressional archives and records.
Be a voting Member of the Congress.

Keep and disseminate meeting minutes, congressional reports, and other relevant materials to the General Assembly, Congress, and College community.
Manage the distribution of important announcements and information to the College community.
Serve as a liaison between Senior Staff and the Executive Board, facilitating communication by scheduling and coordinating meetings.
Assist in the drafting and dissemination of student polls and surveys.
Be a voting Member of the Congress.

Advocate for marginalized students and proactively address student concerns related to diversity, equity, and/or inclusion on campus.
Develop relationships and collaborate regularly with leaders from all identity-based, inclusivity, and diversity-related student organizations, including but not limited to Agencies and organizations receiving funding through the Student Activities Fee.
Work directly with student organizations to advocate for underrepresented students on the administration level by bringing concerns of diverse students to the Office of Student Affairs, the Office of the President and the Senior Staff, the Office of Community and Belonging, and Faculty Council.
Collaborate with and help sustain the missions of diversity and inclusion offices, such as: Faith & Meaning, Multicultural Affairs, The Alice Drum Women’s Center, LGBTQ+ Student Life, International Programs, and Student Accessibility Services.
Serve as the liaison between the Diplomatic Congress and the Vice President for Community and Belonging, with whom they meet regularly.
Serve as the Chair of the Summit Action Committee.
Be a voting member of the Congress.

Effectuate all outward facing communication campaigns, including but not limited to, posters, mass email communications, the Diplomatic Congress weekly newsletter, the webpage, and social media.
Assist the Communications Director in the drafting and dissemination of student polls and surveys.
Develop strategies to best involve the campus community in the work of the Diplomatic Congress.
Organize and structure town halls, meet and greets, office hours, and any other community involvement initiatives that are agreed upon by the executive board. This also includes the coordination of the Ops Palooza event, as established by Resolution 16.04 - “Establishing an Annual Gathering for Facilities Staff and Student Leaders.”
Serve as a liaison between The Diplomatic Congress and the College Communication Office to ensure consistency and collaboration in messaging and programming.
Be a voting Member of the Congress.

Facilitate projects and initiatives within the Congress and student body that better connect campus with the Lancaster Community.
Develop strategies to best involve the Lancaster community in the work of the Diplomatic Congress.
Work with external community members, campus organizations, and individual members of the campus community to make a positive impact on the Lancaster community through, but not limited to, events, service projects, fundraisers, and awareness initiatives.
Present an annual report on the college’s impact on the Lancaster community that details how such impact can be improved and how the Diplomatic Congress can contribute.
Update the General Assembly on Lancaster news and politics when necessary.
