Last Time Out
F&M has won its last three games and can clinch home field advantage throughout the Centennial Conference Tournament with a win this week. The Diplomats are coming off a convincing 15-4 win against McDaniel last Wednesday before a 17-8 win at Washington College over the weekend. Against the Green Terror, F&M scored the first six goals and led by as many as 12 goals. Devyn Crone, Lauren Pittman, and Myranda Beebe all recorded hat tricks for the Diplomats who scored on 75 percent of the shots that they took under the lights. Lydia Cassilly added two more goals to the winning side as eight Diplomats scored in total. The F&M goalies combined to stop nine of the 13 shots that they faced against the Green Terror.
The Diplomats concluded last week with a win in Chestertown behind Lauren Pittman's seven points, as she scored five goals in addition to two assists. Lydia Cassilly also recorded a hat trick while totaling six points in the contest. Lane Lambeth, Alexandra Proefrock, and Megan Bizub all added two goals, with Lambeth dishing out two helpers for a total of four points. Franklin & Marshall nearly doubled up the Shorewomen with a 40-23 advantage in shots after the Diplomats won 21 of the 29 draws. Julia Carbon had a huge day on the restart as she won 10 draw controls to just miss a top-10 single game performance in program history. Pittman added seven draw controls of her own to add to her offensive exploits. Sara DiGiovanni stopped 10 of the 18 shots on goal that she faced in addition to collecting a team-best three ground balls. Sophia Giebel led five different players who caused a turnover with a team-best three CTs during the victory.
Last Time vs. Ursinus
F&M's 19-3 win against the Bears during the 2024 season tied for the team's largest margin of victory last spring. Lauren Pittman and Gillian Brennan led the Diplomats with four goals while both players added an assist to give them five points. Lydia Cassilly led F&M with six points as she recorded a hat trick along with three assists, with both Adde Hollander and Lane Lambeth tallying twice throughout the victory. The Diplomats finished the game with goals on 19 of their 24 shot attempts on goal.
The Diplomats scored the first 10 goals of the contest as they shut out Ursinus for nearly 25 minutes. F&M finished the game with a 32-14 advantage in shots. The Diplomats additionally held the edge in both draw controls (16-9) and ground balls (26-19) while limiting the Bears to just 15 of 23 on their clearing attempts. Lane Lambeth and Sophia Geibel aided those efforts with three and two caused turnovers, respectively. Lambeth also collected a team-high six draw controls, but the most memorable of the game went to senior captain Madison Bray who collected her 200th career draw control in addition to dishing out two assists during the win.
Last Time vs. Muhlenberg
During its 2024 trip to Allentown, Franklin & Marshall found itself facing some early adversity against previously undefeated Muhlenberg, but the Diplomats rebounded behind a huge 10-1 third quarter to hand the Mules a 20-12 defeat. The Diplomats trailed by three goals on three separate occasions during the first half as the Mules took a 9-8 lead into the half before F&M's huge third quarter. Lauren Pittman paced four Diplomat hat tricks on the afternoon as she scored a team-high five goals. Lydia Cassilly registered a team-leading seven points as she scored four more goals while adding three assists. Both Gillian Brennan and Lane Lambeth had three-goal hat tricks during the victory.
The script certainly flipped in the third quarter as the Diplomats put 13 of their 15 shot attempts on goal, scoring on 10 of those attempts. Lambeth tied the game at nine-all just 45 seconds into the second half before Muhlenberg took its final lead of the game at 10-9. F&M scored the final nine goals of the third quarter and also had the first goal of the fourth as its 10-0 run made the score 19-10. The Diplomats finished the game with a 41-31 edge in shots and doubled up the Mules in shots on goal (34-17). Draw Controls slightly favored F&M at an 18-17 advantage, while the Diplomats held a 31-17 edge in ground balls. In addition to her team lead in goals, Pittman also collected a team-best eight draw controls as Sarah Bowyer gained possession for her side on six occasions.
Ursinus Preview
The Bears enter the week at 6-9 overall, with a 2-4 Centennial Conference record that has them in need of wins to make the playoffs during the final week of the regular season. Those results include narrow one goal defeats against both Haverford and Washington College. Maeve Leonzi is leading the team with 39 goals on the season. She is one five 20-plus goal scorers for Ursinus. Dana DeSaito has not reached the 20 goal mark yet, but is leading the team with 47 points behind her 35 assists. Ursinus has also been very strong on the draw with a cumulative 235-185 advantage throughout the 2025 season. Julia McCann's 74 draw controls lead the team in that category, while Abby Burkholder (19 CTs) and Sophia Curtis (22 GBs) are the team leaders in those stat categories. Allison McAnally and Susie Miller have been seen substantial time in the crease, combining for a .347 save percentage and 12.80 GAA.
One Love Game
The women's lacrosse team will be hosting a One Love Game on Wednesday night when the Diplomats take on Ursinus at 7 p.m. inside Shadek Stadium.
The One Love Foundation is a national non-profit organization with the goal of ending relationship abuse. They work within communities of young people to empower them with the tools and resources they need to see the signs of healthy and unhealthy relationships and bring life-saving prevention education to these communities. One Love is founded in remembrance of Yeardley Love, a women's lacrosse player at the University of Virginia who tragically lost her life because of an abusive relationship.

Muhlenberg Preview
At 12-3 overall (4-2 CC), the Mules are tied for third in the Centennial Conference standings heading into the final week of the regular season. Both of Muhlenberg's Centennial Conference losses have come by identical 13-6 scores against Gettysburg and Haverford. Jillian Kubikowski and Emma Youngling have both eclipsed 50 goals for the season, with 54 and 51 tallies respectively. That duo has combined for over half of the team's offensive output. On the draw, Emily Vaughan has a team-best 30 draw controls. She is also the team's leader in both ground balls (49) and caused turnovers (30). The Mules are allowing just nine goals per game as Ellison Ervin has seen the majority of the time in goal where she is stopping over 44 percent of the shots that she has faced. Her GAA is slightly under the team average at 8.94 goals against average.
Senior Day
Saturday's game against Muhlenberg will also be Senior Day for the Diplomats. During the past four years, the Diplomats have already won two Centennial Conference Championships and made two appearances in the NCAA Final Four.
