Scanners & Computers
High-Resolution and High-Speed Scanning Equipment for Archiving Pictures, Slides, Periodicals and OCR Conversion
Bring Your USB Drive:
Most projects require a minimum 8GB of available memory (32GB+ better) to store your scanned files per session.
It is safest to buy a USB drive from a Big-box (Walmart, Smiths, Best Buy etc.) and a reputable brand (PNY, SanDisk, Samsung, Kingston or Corsair)
Note: There are many counterfeit drives sold on Amazon and Ebay containing a fraction of their listed capacity. These display more storage than they possess in use, creating empty files and slowing transfer times.
USB 3.0 drives are substantially faster and typically reduce scan times.
