The Great Barrier Reef Essay

Do you ever wonder what The Great Barrier Reef is? It's not doing well. The reason why the reef is not doing well is because of climate change. The reef is home to 100’s of creatures but it's in danger.

The great barrier reef is in a ocean in Australia on the other side of the world. When you go to Australia make sure to go to it if you can and help it. Or maybe watch for something bad happening to it because sea turtles, saltwater crocodiles, black banded sea krait, leatherback turtle, coral, bumphead fish, and many other animals

The great barrier reef lost color because the algae wasn't growing enough because of the warm climate change and acid. When people try to go over it they will get stuck and then some of the boat comes off and floats in the water and that's not good. Coral reefs are a habitat for 600 creatures. This is why we should preserve them.
