Deborah Conn

Deborah Conn is primarily a watercolorist, but she works in acrylics, collage, and various forms of drawing media as well. Her favorite subjects are people (and dogs).

Deborah's paintings have been shown at NOVA, the Torpedo Factory and Green Spring Gardens in Virginia; Strathmore Hall in Maryland; and in other national and regional exhibits. Her solo show at the Art League Gallery at the Torpedo Factory Art Center in May 2018, "A Sense of Herself," featured large-scale works of women.


She is an artist-in-residence at Palette22 restaurant in Shirlington, where she sketches patrons' dogs, and often joins other Falls Church Arts artists at the Falls Church Farmers Market, where she does the same.

She is a signature member of Potomac Valley Watercolorists and the Baltimore Watercolor Society and an artist member of the Virginia Watercolor Society. She also belongs to Falls Church Arts, the Art League of Alexandria, and Vienna Arts Society.


Deborah teaches beginning and intermediate watercolor classes at her home studio in Falls Church, Virginia, as well watercolor classes on Cunard, Celebrity, and Azamara cruises.
