Happy St. Patrick's Day! Many of our classes watched the Mystery Science Video on "How does hand sanitizer kill germs?" You can check out the video here. After we explored the topic, the video creator asked us to vote on the next question he would answer. He chose the question "How are rainbows made?" Check out the video here. Don't forget to click on the bonus art activities at the end of the video!
At home activity suggestions:
*Create a rainbow picture of your own using crayons, markers, paints or colored pencils.
* Create their own rainbows using cups of water, sunlight, and plain white paper. Check out directions here.
*Try to use glass and sunlight to create your own in home rainbow (this might work best tomorrow when in is sunny out)
*Try to create a triangular prism like the prism shown on the video using paper, scissors and tape.
