Book Bags

If your child has his/her book bag, please practice reading the books inside the bag. If there are additional sheets, words, ect. in the bag it would be great to review them as well.

No Technology Reading Activities

Hide letters or words on post it notes around the house and have your child go on a hunt to see how many he/she can find! Have him/her write the letters or words down for additional practice.
Read a book and write a letter to the author.
Create your own memory matching game.
Scramble words up and have your child try to figure out the correct word.
Read books together.
Act out a play.
Use what you have around the house and get creative! :)
