The library is open Tuesday & Wednesday & Thursday afternoons until 3:25 PM.
Lunch Access Requires a Pass- you must get a pass from Mrs. Verdi or Mrs. DeStefano during homeroom.
The Library Media Center is designed as a hub of active learning. Not only do we provide resources to students and teachers, we also offer lessons on information literacy. In a comfortable setting with carpet and plush seating, children enjoy old favorites and can use their imaginations to discover new worlds.
The Library Media Center houses over 10,000 items, including Classics, Reference resources, videos, and access to new media as well as periodicals. We have a right to use databases and websites previewed by educators.
Parents of students are encouraged to reach out regarding any questions or concerns regarding available books or resources at our school libraries. Additionally, parents at Memorial Middle School are able to make book recommendations for district consideration. Parents may also suggest the removal of a book from circulation, movement of the book to a higher grade level, or more limited use of a particular book. Please reach out to your building principal for the Request for Reconsideration of Library Materials Form.
