Step 5

Present your New Knowledge and Thinking

You will present your new knowledge and thinking in TWO ways:

  1. An Oral Presentation that demonstrates the content knowledge you gained in your research AND your THINKING about this information.

  2. A Visual Presentation that SHOWS, ILLUSTRATES and HIGHLIGHTS your Oral Presentation

Oral Presentation

Your oral presentation should be a shorter version of your learning and thinking.

Visual Presentation

Use your oral presentation as a foundation for what you will present visually.

SHOW, ILLUSTRATE and HIGHLIGHT the knowledge and thinking you are trying to communicate. Visual presentations help your audience understand what you are trying to say. They ADD to your oral presentations and HELP your audience to understand your words and ideas.

A tri-fold display is a great way to demonstrate all your learning. But, you can also choose a slideshow, a narrated video, or a website to your oral presentation.
