My name is Mrs. DeTullio, and I have proudly taught at Fairfield Township School for 13 years. I grew up in Millville, NJ, and I have always been interested in learning about the world around me. When I was 9 years old, my parents bought me a telescope for Christmas. From there, my love for science and learning flourished, and I enjoyed sharing my knowledge with others. I was influenced by many caring teachers, and I quickly realized how closely all subjects are related. As my passion for learning grew, I knew I wanted to become a teacher myself and to help instill knowledge, compassion, and drive in others. Throughout my time at Fairfield, I have taught science, social studies, and math.
I am a newlywed, and I have a dog named Macey. I love to travel and explore the world. One of my goals is to explore all 50 states! I enjoy seeing new places, meeting new people, trying new foods, and being adventurous! I try to get out and enjoy the fresh air as much as possible by playing sports, going to the beach, boardwalk, or riding my bike. I do not have any children of my own but I spend a lot of time with my two favorite girls, my nieces. I believe family is very important, and I am looking forward to building our 6th grade family this year!!
I am a graduate of Stockton University, where I pursued a variety of topics. I want to teach my students that learning never ends and to never give up! I will also be the Cross County Coach and Student Council Advisor this year, so I hope to see our students participate in extracurricular activities, too! I am looking forward to a successful school year and getting to know your student! Let's see how far we can go! Please contact me if you have any questions!
