Are you interested in pursuing flight or a career in aviation or an aviation-related field? We encourage well-rounded individuals who are involved in their school or community and interested in the world of aviation to apply for an EAA scholarship. 

Ohio State University - Alumni Scholarship

The Ohio State University Alumni Club of Greene County is sponsoring merit-based scholarships for high school seniors who are considering attending The Ohio State University. 

Hagan Scholarship

The Hagan Scholarship is a nationwide need-based merit scholarship, providing recipients with the opportunity to achieve their goals and graduate college debt-free. Applicants must graduate from a high school located in the United States. Applicant’s Adjusted Gross Household Income reported for 2022 Federal Income Tax Purposes must not have exceeded $100,000. Free workshops, Free Schwab Brokerage Accounts, and Free Study Abroad provide recipients with a practical understanding of important life skills not typically covered in the school curriculum. Recipients graduating college while in the Hagan Scholarship Program can apply for a Hagan Graduate Scholarship good for up to four additional consecutive semesters.

The Dayton Foundation ScholarshipCONNECT

ScholarshipCONNECT is your one-stop application system to search and apply for over 300 Dayton Foundation scholarship opportunities. The majority of these scholarships are open exclusively to students who reside in the Greater Dayton region of Ohio. 

Mu Chi O. Lester Smithers Scholarship Fund

This Scholarship Fund was created with generous gifts from members of the Mu Chi Chapter of the Omega Psi Phi Fraternity. The purpose of the Fund is to provide educational scholarships to male African American high school graduates from any Clark or Greene County High School, Stebbins or Wayne High School (Montgomery Cy.). Students must attend an Ohio accredited post-secondary institution.

Provided sufficient income is available, each year’s award amount will be determined by the Springfield Foundation Scholarship Committee. Award may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, and other related expenses.

Warren G. Elliot Scholarship Program

The Warren G. Elliott Scholarship is now available to graduates of any high school in Clark, Champaign, Logan and Greene Counties planning to pursue any course of study at any accredited institution of higher education or accredited vocational or trade school.

Provided sufficient income is available, each year’s award amount will be determined by the Springfield Foundation Scholarship Committee. Award may be applied toward tuition, fees, books, and other related expenses.

Megawatt Scholarship

When you see wind turbines, think scholarships! For each turbine installed as part of a Wind for Industry® project with One Energy, Megawatt Scholarship partners are giving back to our local communities. One Energy sponsors one $5,000 scholarship per turbine at a customer’s facility – every year the turbine operates. To date, 125 scholarships have been awarded to outstanding area students – and with 20-year turbine lifetimes, we’re just getting started.

Ohio Wesleyan University's Dr. Charles Thomas Scholarship

The Dr. Charles Thomas Scholarship is valued at $3,000 annually for four years and is awarded in addition to academic merit scholarships. All recipients of the scholarship will have their full financial need (as determined by FAFSA results) met with a combination of scholarships, grants, Federal loans, and work-study. 

Central and Southern Ohio HIMSS Scholarship

The Central and Southern Ohio HIMSS (CSOHIMSS) Chapter will annually award two $500 scholarships to a student who wishes to study in the healthcare information or healthcare management systems field or closely related fields.

United States Army Cadet Command ROTC 4-Year High School Scholarship 

THE LAST DAY TO START AN APPLICATION IS FEBRUARY 4TH, 2024. The National Army ROTC Scholarship is designed to allow interested High School Seniors and High School Graduates (who have not started college) to apply and compete for a Scholarship to attend college while participating in Army ROTC Classes as a Cadet.

Established in 1968, the Maude and Alexander Hadden Scholarship is awarded to exceptionally worthy high school seniors with demonstrated financial need, for up to four years of college undergraduate study. Hadden Scholars must be U.S. citizens matriculating at a four-year accredited college or university established in the United States.

The Greater Ohio Valley Chapter of Women in Defense's Scholarship Program

The Greater Ohio Valley Chapter of Women in Defense (WID) announces its 2024 Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) Scholarship Program. This scholarship program supports female military members, local high school students, college students, and career professionals who are pursuing degrees/certifications in the STEM field and have aspirations to work in the Defense Industry.   

The goal is to encourage women to seek a STEM-related career in the defense industry (military, federal government, or civilian company) and to participate in WID events and activities.
