About Me

All About Me!

This is my fourth year at Brashier and my 23nd year of teaching.  I have been teaching Middle School Math, Algebra, Algebra 2, and Freshman Success  for the past 22 years.

I graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelors in Elementary Education in 1990 and I received my Masters  Degree from Lander University in 2004.

I grew up on the east side of Cleveland, Ohio and moved to South Carolina in 1994 with my husband, Mike.  We lived in Greenwood for 10 year where I taught at Southside Middle School and then Westview Middle School.  While in Greenwood, my daughter,  Maggie was born.  She is a senior at Anderson University. In 2004, we moved to Simpsonville to be closer to family, and in 2005, my son, Austin was born.  Austin is a senior  here at Brashier.

In my free time, I like to spend time with my family and read.
