Weekly Plans and assignments can be found on Google Classroom. If you would like to receive access to your child's Google Classroom, please email Mrs. Burdette to set this up for you.
Course Description: English 1 is designed to prepare students for College and Career Readiness as required by the South Carolina State Standards. The curriculum is a study in conflict found in the literary genres of drama, poetry, fiction, as well as informational texts. A link to the State Standards can be found on Mrs. Burdette’s website.
Note: This course carries CP GPA weighting.
Textbook: Into Literature Houghton Mifflin Harcourt Grade 9- This is a consumable workbook that will be stored in the classroom. However, students may take it home for homework and studying.
