Every year, Student Forum offers two packages that vary in inclusivity for the events throughout Spirit Week. Passes Spirit Week can be bought during lunch on the week of January 21-24.
The Kitten Pass is the smallest of the two passes and it includes all dress days, and a homecoming ticket. This package is $45.
The Bengal Pass is the largest of the two passes and it includes all dress days, a homecoming ticket, paint n pairs event, and all buyouts. This package is $60.
Each activity can still be purchased separately!!
Dress days are fun ways to get out of the regular dress code during Spirit Week. Each dress day is $5 and there are a total of six dress days. Students can buy individual passes for each day when they enter the building each morning. Alternatively, students can purchase a Spirit Week Package (mentioned above) that includes all five dress days.
Friday the 24th - Once Upon a Time
Students dress in something resembling a Disney character.
Monday the 27th - Marvel vs. DC
Students will either dress as a Marvel character or a DC character.
Tuesday the 28th - Teen Beach Movie
Students will dress as a biker or a surfer
Wednesday the 29th - Outerbanks
Students will either dress in a country style or a country-club style.
Thursday the 30th - Iconic Duos
Students can dress up with a friend as a famous duo.
Friday the 31st - Inside Out
Students in every grade can wear the colors corresponding with their assigned emotion from Inside Out (freshmen), Disgust (sophomores), Anger (juniors), or Sadness (seniors). Teachers can wear purple for Fear.
Secret Rose is an activity we do where a student can buy a rose for someone for $1. It will then be delivered to them anonymously.
Each class will have a container to raise the most money. Pennies add value and silver coins and paper money subtracts value. Grades are encouraged to sabotage the other grades as well. Save all your loose pocket change or money. As always, all proceeds will go to the Nami Foundation. Winning Grade will have points added for Spirit Stick Competition.
A buyout is an opportunity for a student to pay $3 to leave a certain class. This years buyouts will be Tues 1/28 3B and Thurs 1/30 2BOn 1/30. Each buyout session is for one hour.
Minute 2 Lose is an opportunity for students to pay their teachers not to teach class. For every $1 spent, one minute will be subtracted from the teaching time, up to 60 mins. Students will have the opportunity to participate in M2L during 2A on 1/29 and 3A on 1/31.
Students can pay up to $60 for teacher to not teach!!
A profit share is a way to support the community and the Nami Foundation at the same time! Please see our profit share page for more details. Encourage your family and friends to support these local businesses and contribute to our Spirit Week Charity.
A profit share is when a company donates 10%-15% of their earnings for a particular time frame for our Spirit Week fundraiser.
The Homecoming Dance is $20 and will be here at school. Lights, Camera, Action is the theme, and will conclude the end of Spirit Week.
Students and guest will need to sign a NEW permission slips due to several changes that have occurred.
