I am thrilled to be at Brashier! This is my 24th year in education, and I have served in a variety of roles from classroom teacher to adjunct professor. I knew I wanted to be a teacher at the age of 4. I am most at home in the classroom and love working with young adults!
I graduated from Clemson in 2002 with a Bachelor of Arts in secondary education-mathematics. I received my Masters in Administration and Supervision from Clemson in 2004. I got an Ed.S. from the University of South Carolina in 2008 and received my Ph.D. from USC in 2010. As you can see, I love to learn!
In my free time, I like to read, watch HGTV, spend time with my family, and shop!
My wonderful husband and I have been married for 21 years and live in Fountain Inn. Our daughter is a freshman at Clemson, and our son is a freshman in high school.

I believe that all students deserve to be treated with dignity and respect.
I believe that everyone is capable of learning math.
I believe that mathematics is far more than memorizing steps and algorithms.
I believe that the teacher's role is to provide learning experiences, not simply answers.
I believe that hard works pays off.
I believe that students need to know you care before they care what you know.
I believe that the person doing the work in the classroom is the person learning.
I believe that reflection is a powerful form of growth.
I believe in learning from mistakes.
