Volunteers will be needed on all days, and our focus will be on our middle schoolers for the first few days, then a day for all students, followed by a family shopping event (with books for all ages) at the fall festival.

This year we kicked off the start of 6th grade with an event for 6th grade parents! Thank you to everyone who came out to see our kiddos off on their first day. Below are the handouts and notes from our parent gathering.

Our 6th graders are creating a time capsule to kick off their time at Explore Academy Mid/High. Every student will be encouraged to fill out a time capsule form and family members have one as well. The PTO will collect all of the forms and save them for the first day of 12th grade, when students will be able to see what they wrote to themselves and the notes from their loved ones.
Highlights from the Presentations
Note: we took first day of school photos! Heather will work on emailing these to students over the next week or so (because I will match their names with their photos) so make sure to ask your student to share the photos with you! These will also be added to the Time Capsule.
