Visas
A Tourist Visa is REQUIRED for entry to Tanzania for those not traveling with a Tanzanian passport. See important notes below about the Visa.
US Passport holders need to apply for a multiple entry visa, but non-US passport holders can apply for an ordinary single entry visa.
You are encouraged to begin the Visa application process 8-12 weeks before your departure. You cannot start the process before 12 weeks as the visa will expire before departure.
Tanzanian visas are electronic, meaning you will not need to mail your passport to an embassy or visa processing company.

Option 2: Do It Yourself
Apply online with Tanzania eVisa
US Passport Holders should apply for a multiple visa for for Holiday/Tourism and non-US passport holders should apply for an ordinary single entry visa.
GLA & G3 Global Services are not able to assist with the do-it-yourself visa option. Tanzania eVisa may deny your application if the information provided is incorrect or issue you the incorrect visa if the information provided is not correct per the requirements. If you list anything to do with volunteer/humanitarian work your visa will more than likely be rejected as this falls under a business visa. You may be required to start over and pay again, which is why we recommend you use G3 to ensure it will be accepted the first time
