A Visa-on-Arrival is required to travel to Indonesia from the USA; for non-US passport holders please consult your local Indonesian embassy to check your visa requirements for travel and transit.
Please be sure to bring the following paperwork with you to Bali to get your Visa-on-Arrival:
A passport that is valid for a minimum of 6 (six) months;
The expiration date of the applicant's passport (full validity passport) must be at least 6 (six) months at the date of entry, which has at least one blank page for the visa (amendment and endorsement pages cannot be used for visa). A limited-validity passport is not accepted without a prior Indonesian visa;A return ticket or ticket for continuing a trip to another country;
Tourists (Visa-on-Arrival): This is a $35 USD visa issued upon arrival valid for up to 30 days for tourism, family visitation, and other purposes. Important: Bring EXACT cash to pay for this Visa. Cards are not accepted.
A completed e-CD form is required to pass through customs on arrival in Indonesia. It applies to all foreign and local individuals traveling to Indonesia to declare what goods they are carrying into Indonesia. Passengers should complete the e-CD through this website. Indonesia no longer provides paper customs forms at the airport. It is possible to fill out the e-customs form 2 days ahead of your arrival in Bali, which we would recommend everyone do to avoid hassle at the airport (if you have not completed the form before arrival you will need to either wait for a computer or connect to the airport wifi to complete the form on a smartphone, tablet, or laptop). Upon completing the form, a QR code will appear, which you will need to take a screenshot of and save for your arrival. When you go through customs, they will have a QR code scanner and you will have to produce the QR code then.
