Ghana Visa - REQUIRED!
A tourist visa is REQUIRED for travel to Ghana for students not traveling with a Ghanaian passport.
Please start this process ASAP!
Timeline to Submit Your Visa Application
14-day Session 1: June 22-July 5 - Submit visa application by May 11th.
21-day Session 1: July 7-July 27- Submit visa application by May 26th.
14-day Session 2: July 9-July 22- Submit visa application by May 28th.
14-day Session 3: July 26-Aug 8- Submit visa application by June 14th.

Complete the form for a tourist visa on G3 Global Services. They will then walk you through the process and checklist of next steps.

Visa Checklist
Once it's time, you will email copies of the following documents to GLA@g3visas.com. They will then begin the process for you and they will have you ship the originals of all the above documents to them. They will bring it to the Ghanaian Embassy for you, obtain the visa and ship the passport with the visa adhered back to you once it's ready.
Valid signed US Passport. Passports must have at least two blank pages marked "Visas" side-by-side available. Passports must be valid for at least six months before the expiration date.
Two identical 2” x 2” passport-size photographs taken within the last 6 months, on photo paper, with a plain white background.
Ghana Visa eApplication Questionnaire. G3 will fill this out for you based on your answers in the fillable PDF.
A copy of your international flight itinerary
Invitation Letter confirming details of your stay in Ghana (contact person, lodging address, email/phone). GLA has sent this to you via email.
International Certificate of Vaccination for Yellow Fever. A yellow fever vaccination and certificate is required for entry into Ghana.
If you are unable to get the yellow fever vaccine before applying for your visa, the application contains an additional form you can fill out that you can use in the meantime to obtain your visa. You still need to obtain your vaccine to enter Ghana. (*Students 18+ must submit a copy of their yellow fever vaccine with their visa application.)
Non-U.S. citizens: Submit a valid I-94 or copy of your Permanent Resident Card.
If you are under the age of 18: You'll also need to submit the following additional items:
Photocopy of your birth certificate showing both parents’ names.
Photocopy of both parents’ valid passports (photo/signature page) or driver’s licenses.
Completed and notarized Letter of Consent signed by both parents (G3 will send this to you when it's time)
