Expanish’s Internship program is designed to offer you guidance and structure throughout your internship experience.
A dedicated team will support you to help you navigate your role, develop personally and professionally, and make the most of your time in Barcelona. To achieve this, the program includes:
On-site Orientation session
Required Professional Development Seminars throughout the Internship (see below)
Online support during your Internship kick-off
Regular check-ins with both the Intern and the Supervisor

Internship Seminars
The Internship Seminars provide a platform for reflection, enhancement of student skills, and the development of cultural competence.
This course uses a combination of lectures, guided discussions, interactive activities, and reflective assignments to integrate students' internship experiences with academic insights.
The seminars are organized in seven sessions.
Interns are expected to adhere to the University of California Code of Conduct and the host organization's internal policies.

The Internship Program follows the same attendance policy as the Business in Barcelona program. If you're going to be absent or late, it's essential that you inform your Supervisor in advance.
