The EXIT 49 Excellence Scholarship

The EXIT 49 Excellence Scholarship was established by Alfredo Valenzuela Jr in April 2020 to recognize graduating high school seniors who have demonstrated a strong and consistent commitment to service, leadership, and academic achievement.

Since then, with the support of generous donors and community partners, EXIT 49 has awarded over $11,000 in scholarships to students from the Fabens, Clint, Tornillo, and Anthony Independent School Districts.

• The 2026 application (for high school students graduating in the 2025-2026 academic year) will open on November 17, 2025.
