This website aims to provide an easy to understand refresher on common neurological topics encountered on the ward, act as a reference point for Year 3 and 4 pathways (including neurology, stroke, orthopaedics, ophthalmology, and elderly care) and cover some of the required learning from the indicative presentations list.
This video is designed as a helpful revision aid on the cranial nerves for UEMS medical students approaching AMK, OSCEs or clinical Neurology placements. It is mainly focussed on the functions of the first 6 cranial nerves, but also includes some key refreshers of anatomy and clinical examination.
This resource has been developed as part of my Doctors as Teachers SSU to help students who are new to the world of surgery to feel more confident in theatre environment. It also acts as a refresher for older students who have not been on a surgical placement for a while and need a reminder about how things are done.
