Project Description: GRAMMY®-nominated pianist Alfredo Rodriguez teams up with GRAMMY-nominated percussionist Pedrito Martinez to put their Cuban flare on a holiday classic, “Jingle Bells.”

Rodriguez, a Quincy Jones prodigy, came to the U.S. from Cuba to pursue a career in music and has since released four albums on Mack Avenue Records and toured the world extensively. Martinez, named “Percussionist of the Year” four times by the Jazz Journalists Association, was a founding member of the highly successful Afro-Cuban/Afro-Beat band Yerba Buena.

Both musicians grew up in Havana, Cuba but have made the United States their home. Alfredo uses Los Angeles as his home base, while Pedrito resides in New Jersey. Their version of “Jingle Bells” is an expression of the influences they’ve gathered from their travels and shows off just how much fun the duo has together.
