Welcome to Excelsior Classical Academy

Dear Families,

It is my pleasure to welcome you to Excelsior Classical Academy, where we are dedicated to fostering a love of learning, personal growth, and strong character in every student. As an elementary school built on the principles of classical education, we believe in providing a rigorous academic foundation that prepares students for success both in and out of the classroom.

Our curriculum is rooted in Core Knowledge, CKLA Amplify, and Math in Focus, ensuring that students develop a deep understanding of content across all subjects. This structured and challenging approach builds strong foundations in reading, writing, mathematics, history, and science—empowering students to think critically, engage thoughtfully, and grow into lifelong learners.

Beyond academics, we are committed to nurturing the social and emotional well-being of our students. Through character education and a supportive school environment, we guide children in developing self-awareness, resilience, and the interpersonal skills necessary to become compassionate, responsible citizens.

The month ahead:

Quarter 4  8:15 am - 3:25pm

⭐Revised School Hours due to snow days:  School will start at 8:15.  Doors to school will open at 7:55 am beginning on March 31st.  This new start time will run through the entirety of Quarter 4.  School will end at the regular  time.
