During the past couple of months...
2nd Graders rehearsed and performed scripts based off of the "Frog and Toad" book series by Arnold Lobel.
3rd Graders rehearsed and performed a script excerpt from the beloved book "Wind in the Willows" by Kenneth Grahame.
4th Grade performed interviews with/as Revolutionary War historical figures such as Phyllis Wheatley, Deborah Sampson, Abigail Adams, James Lafayette, George Washington, Thomas Jefferson, and John Adams.
A select few 4th grade student volunteers organized a dance to "A Million Dreams" from The Greatest Showman, also sung by 4th grade students.
5th Grade performed monologues, speeches, one-act plays, scripts, etc. including or based on the work of Civil War historical persons such as Abraham Lincoln, Louisa May Alcott, Frederick Douglas, and Harriet Tubman. You can view and watch a few photos and performances here:

First graders explored the peaceful and flowery aromatic world of Ferdinand from the beautiful book, "The Story of Ferdinand" by Munro Leaf.
