The Huntsville Aquatics Center will be open from 5:00-7:00pm for open warm up on Thursday, February 27th. Typically, 5:00 is very crowded but it lightens up later in the warm up. Excel Coaches will be on deck for the warm up.

The preliminary sessions can run long so to avoid having swimmers arrive too early for their races, we will schedule arrival times based on first events for each day. Those swimmers who swim in the first event of the day should plan on arriving at 7:00am and warming up with the team. Those 11&O swimmers who are arriving later will be able to warm up in the legacy or teaching pools and should do the following:
1 x 300 Free
4 x 100 kick/swim/drill/swim @ 1:45
12 x 25 variable speed @ :30
4 x 50 kick @ 1:00
2 x 25 sprints (from a push if no blocks available)

10&U athletes will have 10 lanes in the legacy pool reserved for their warm up every day at 8am.  Should you wish to take advantage of these reserved lanes for 10&U athletes then please plan to be on deck at 7:45.  If you choose to arrive based on the schedule posted below, then the warm up is as follows:

1 x 200 Alt FR/kick by 50
4 x 50 IM Order kick/swim
16 x 25 variable speed , IM order or stroke based on swims
1 x 50 BK, focus on turn, if swimming BK that day

Friday- BLue
Saturday-Championship Shirt
Sunday- Black 

• This is a prelims/finals championship format meet so the SES Scratch Rule is in effect. That means that each swimmer will have 30 minutes after their preliminary event is results are posted, to declare their intention to scratch. Any swimmer who fails to follow this protocol, and then misses their final swim will be disqualified from the rest of the meet.

• Finals heat sheets are usually available about 30 minutes after the conclusion of the preliminary sessions and will be emailed out to our families as soon as we receive them. 

• The relay names that have been posted in advance of the meet are NOT accurate. In many cases, we had to adjust names for qualifying purposes with the full intention to adjust the relays at the meet. Please do not make any plans based on pre-published relay names. 

• Relays that are swum in preliminaries will be announced through email the evening before. Relays that are swum with finals will be announced via email during the mid-day break.

• Every morning at 8:00am- 10 lanes in the legacy pool will be reserved for 10 & Under swimmers only to warm up.

• The building will open at 7:00am every morning. Please don't expect to be let in any earlier than that.
