Register

You must first create a user at the ETS website and proceed to register for the TOEFL IBT test. IBT means Internet Based Test. TOEFL paper-edition is not offered in Norway. All available dates for TOEFL shows up in this website . If you can't find an available date, it is because it is fully booked.     

Where can I prepare for the TOEFL test?

We recommend you use only ETS certified material to prepare for the test. 

What should I bring on test day?

You must bring your passport (mainly only if you are a Norwegian citizen, we will also accept your driver’s license or national ID card as valid id. Bank cards are not accepted as valid id.)

No food or drinks are allowed in the testing room, but you may eat or drink before and after the test. Remember, there are no breaks!

You do not need to bring pen and paper or your laptop. We provide all the necessary equipment.

I need more time/ need to reschedule/ change my date/ other inquires

You have to take contact directly with ETS for these and other enquiries through the ETS website.

Results

At the end of the test you will get unofficial scores for the Reading and Listening sections.

Your official scores for all sections will be sent to you by email 4 to 8 days after your test date, and you can access your scores online. You can download a pdf with your scores until two years after your test date. If you have selected to receive your scores by mail, you will get them 11-15 days after the test date, depending  on how you took the test and local post services.
