Meet the Staff

Kristina guilfoyle

Director of AUAP and Instructor

Kristina Guilfoyle has been the AUAP director since 2014. She loves to travel, has been to over twelve different countries, and has lived in Japan for 5 years. She loves Japanese ramen, Marvel movies, and cuddling with her animals.

Tomoko Kimura

Bilingual Support

Tomoko Kimura has been living in the US since 2001. She is teaching group piano, private piano lessons, Japanese class and a Japanese mentor for AUAP and ELI at Eastern Washington University. She also teach at Whitworth University. Tomoko also maintains a private piano studio in Spokane and teaches both children and adults

Mary has has taught English and ESL courses at EWU for 12 years and has been known to add a song or two into her lessons. She loves to be outside and to spend time with her friends and family.
