Here are a collection of videos and resources that I have made and collected to help you navigate or find answers to using many of the programs that we use here at EWSD.
This collection is growing and in the process of being populated. More are being added each week. If there is a question you are looking for that you don't see, please let me know so I can help you out.

Sharing with Targeted Audience
A new feature was released a while ago within our Google Workspace called "Targeted Audiences" and it affects sharing items. It was released quietly and we need to make sure we are using it correctly.
When you are sharing student-sensitive information with other people you should NOT choose "Essex Westford School District". This will share the item(s) or folder with everyone in the district including students. To keep our information FERPA compliant, If there is student information you need to share with a large group of people where you can't share it with every interested party individually (this would be best) then Choose "EWSD Staff". This will only make it available to users with a @ewsd.org user name and will block it from users with a @vt.ewsd.org user name.
Here is an example of what you will find here.
Embedded Apps on Chrome Available to All Students.
The district has embedded a few apps onto all the accounts within the domain that many teachers haven't seen. Math teachers will appreciate these tools especially.
Note. These are still currently available to students on Chromebooks but not on Windows machines. This is being addressed 9-28-2023.
This outlines the process of entering in an planned or sudden absence in to our Frontline system to account for vacation, personal or sick time off. It also explains how to properly mark the times for a partial day off and what is needed so the sub that is covering for you comes for the added time needed due to how subs get paid for a minimum of 3.5 hours when they come in.
