Here in Room 104 we LOVE birthdays! We can't wait to celebrate your child's special day with the whole class! In accordance with district protocol, birthday celebrations will look a little different this year. Please refrain from sending any food items to the classroom for your child's birthday celebration. Please consider one of the following fabulous alternatives instead, and remember that there should be enough for the whole class to enjoy:

• Read a favorite story to the class! Your child may choose to bring in their favorite book from home to read to the class or for me to read to the class! Picture books or a chapter from a longer book are both great options. :)

• Bring in a favorite show and tell item!

• Play a game for the whole class to enjoy (Simon Says, 2 Truths and Lie, 20 Questions are just some examples)
