Broadcasting: Sports, News, and Entertainment 

This full year course expands upon the foundational skills developed in Video Production by immersing students in the fast-paced world of broadcast journalism with a focus on sports, news, and entertainment. Students will refine their techniques in directing, camera operation, script writing, and audio production to produce broadcast segments. Students will take on roles behind and in front of the camera to create content for live and pre-recorded productions. Projects may include school newscasts, live sports coverage, interviews, entertainment reviews, and special feature stories. Emphasis is placed on journalistic integrity, audience awareness, storytelling, and multi-platform content delivery, including podcasts and digital streaming.
