How It Works and Features
Another one of the technological advancements in transportation in the last 3 years would be the airless wheel. the airless wheel is used on vehicles currently on the Moon and Mars due to being able to go on the rocky surfaces of the Moon and Mars . The airless wheel also helped inspire the airless wheel bicycles. The airless wheel is also virtually never go flat, do to it being airless, there is nothing to lose when the rubber potentially "pops." It could also potentially last the entire lifetime of your vehicle due to its durability. The wheel is made of Nitinol which is Titanium and nickel combined, this is what gives the airless wheel its durability and elasticity.
How It's an Improvement
The airless wheel is an improvement on modern day wheels because modern tires pop fairly commonly and quickly, where as airless tires do not pop very often, if at all due to them not having air as mentioned before. In the wheel there is a hadr plastic rim which holds the wheel together and as long as you replace the rubber exterior every once in a while or whenever or if ever the rubber is damaged, the wheel will last until your car expires. the airless wheel is also rubbery and elastic like normal tires, but more durable against popping on rocks and metal than normal tires. The airless wheel is also able to witth stand -100c (celsius) and go off road very effectively. And to restate this again, the airless wheel is far more durable than modern tires because it doesn't have air and also has more support on the inside of the rims than normal tires.
