Shanks Loosing his arm.
This is when Luffy meets red haired shanks (and his crew) In a bar. This is when Luffy gets teased by red haired shanks calling him an anchor, and that he's not capable for a being a pirate. Some time passes and than a group of mountain bandits come for the alcohol, but red hair and his crew drunk it all leaving none for the mountain bandits. Red hair apologizes to them but it didn't help. The aftermath is Luffy eatting the gomugomu no mi and became a rubber man. The mountain bandits return and Luffy tries to fight them for insulting shanks but fails. This led to the red hair pirates fighting and winning but in the cost of red haired shanks arm. The end result is Luffy getting red hairs hat ,and him saying for Luffy to keep it until his a great pirate.

Luffy and his friends arrive at syrup village but they come across some "pirate" army. Then a man named Usopp appeared he demanded them to go back to sea or face his pirate army. The thing was Luffy, Zoro ,and Nami were not scared at all. Truth was Usopps army was a fake, and after this they arrived at a rich girls place. Usopp is friends with a really rich girl named kaya, and were also introduced to a mean servant of hers named Koro that will defiantly not be the villain of this part. Luffy and Usopp find out Koros horrible plan to take kaya's money. Usopp tried to warn the villagers pirates are coming ,but he did this multi-able times in the past but as a lie. Usopp, Luffy, and his crew members finally face Koro in a big battle. Finally Luffy wins and syrup village is saved. The aftermath was usopp joining there pirate crew.

This Arc is the aftermath of the Baratie part. What happens in this part is Luffy and his crew go to Arlong park( Its not a park, its a base remember that now). They confront Nami's village (Nami is one of straw hat Luffys crew members, that betrayed them for her village) They find out about Nami's past, and decide to go to Arlong park. they were on the way there they confronted fishmen that which they destroyed. They confront Arlong and with sometime Luffy finally defeats Arlong and Nami joins there group (again)!
