Overview

The Notebook is a Romance movie, based on a lower class boy named Noah Calhuon, and a higher classed girl named Allie Hamilton falling deeply in love with one another over the summer break of 1940. Allie and Noah fell in love as a "summer break fling" not thinking about their future. Allie and Noah got seperated once the summer came to an end. Allies felt pressured and overwhelmed with her parent expectations and Allies parents did not approve of him. Allie and Noah's fight led to a temporary break up and she left for New York. After Allie left she found a new man named Lon and eventually he proposed to her.
