This works with 3D printing technology and it can produce vibrant colors and changing textures. This is basically just a regular 3D printer, but with different filament. Designers can use modeling software to make a model of the dress and then after they just get printed using regular technology. The way it prints is by the material going back and fourth in thin lines to create a representation of the 3D model in real size so you can wear it. The closer the lines are together, the more of a filled in fabric looking outcome.

The regular sewing process takes a long time to cut and sew the fabric together, into the right size and shape. It is designed to fit the target model perfectly.  All you have to do is design the product on a computer and press "print".  The Production can be local and on demand. There is low waste, easy customization,  and this process saves so much money.
