The Catapult Vector tracking sports and fitness vest works by combining the world's most reliable GPS antenna with a range of other sensors. It wraps around a person like a upper body vest. The vest is designed to hold a pod between the shoulder blades that contains a magnetometer which measures the resonance frequency of the protons in a magnetic field to track a players performance and position. These GPS devices are able to capture over 1250 data points per second to measure how much and how hard the players are working. It connects to gps towers in the area to work.
The Catapult Vector tracking vest is an improvement for sports because it allows the coaches to hone in on one players performance (top speed, number of sprints, sprint distance, power, load, intensity, and more) and position on the field instead of trying to watch one player in a multi player game. It's also useful to help newer athletes to improve work outs and in sports by showing what was stated previously (top speed, number of sprints, sprint distance, power, load, intensity, and more) while also showing an overhead map of the field or court wo monitor your moments when playing.
