Congratulations to our girls soccer team! They will be playing in the state championship game this Saturday, November 8th at Rhode Island College at 11:00am against St. Rays.
We are planning to send the team off at 2:15 with an escort from our local fire departments if anyone would like to be here to wish them well.
"EWG would like to take a moment to recognize Mrs Yanovich (srv high BMT teacher) in her completion of the 2025 New York City Marathon! Despite facing a minor injury, she still managed to complete the 26.2 mile course in 3 hours and 13 minutes! She has now completed 5 out of the 6 total World Major Marathons, with only Tokyo to go. Her finish also qualified her to compete in the 2026 Boston Marathon! Way to go Mrs Yanovich! EWG will be cheering for you, go get your 6th star!"
There will be a mandatory DECA meeting in S202 during KT today. Students should check in with their KT teachers before going to Mr. Rachall's room. Senior High staff can find the list of students on the weekly schedule.

Student Council will be sponsoring a non-perishable food drive to help support those in our community who need it; drop off donations in any box to help out! There is a box at the main entrance, the reception area, and the Jr. High main entrance. We will be collecting until further notice.

"EWG's annual blood drive is here! On November 4 from 1-7 we will be hosting a blood drive in the auditorium. This is a wonderful opportunity as you are guaranteed community service hours by trying to donate. Your one donation can save up to 3 lives so If you are interested please sign up during lunch! Kids over the age of 16 are able to donate and we encourage parents to join as well. Hope to see everyone there!"

Congratulations to junior, Lily Chabot for placing 5th in the girls varsity race and earning First Team All Class Honors in addition to her previously earned First Team All Division Honors. The Spooktacular is tomorrow from 2 to 7, stop by right after school to enjoy the chorus performance or come back later and bring your families for the spooky events, click here for a flyer listing the timeline of events. Attention Sophomores - the final results are in for the Pie/ Cookie Dough Fundraiser. Mr. Quindazzi's advisory is in first place with 37 items sold, Ms. Nardi's advisory is in second place with 30 items sold, and Ms. Ruizzo's advisory is in third with 27 items sold! Mr. Quindazzi's advisory wins the pizza party! The student who sold the most items is Desmond Butler, and he will be awarded an amazon gift card! Great job Desmond!

There will be a Student Council meeting tomorrow, October 22. We will be recapping Spirit Week and the Pep Rally, and starting to plan future events. The meeting will be held in room S107 until 2:15 pm. All are welcome to attend participate!

Class of 2028 Trunk or Treat Halloween Event
If you would like to park/ decorate your car & pass out candy for this year's Trunk or Treat event on Friday, October 24, 2025, please complete this form anytime before Friday, October 10. There is NO charge to park/ decorate your vehicle. Further directions/ guidelines will be sent via email. Our goal is to get between 45-50 Cars.
This activity does count as community service hours for students in grades 9-12!

The Math Team is kicking off our first meet of the season this Wednesday, October 15th, from 1:45 to 3:30 PM. Support our mathletes as they put their problem-solving skills to the test!
Attention Sophomores - the grade 10 pie and cookie dough sale contest is in full swing: As of today, Mr Quindazzi's advisory is in first place with 30 items sold. Mr Robitaille's advisory is in second place with 19 items, and Ms Ruizzo's advisory is in third with 12 items sold. There are only 6 more days to get those sales in! Let's step it up grade 10!

Next week we will be observing the passing of our friend and teacher, Mr. Stetson. We will share a moment of silence at the boys and girls soccer games next week. We will also remember him at our boy’s basketball team's first home game of the season.
