Arthur morgan

he is the main character through the game he is 36  and he is one of the main arts of the crumbling gang and later in the story he develops tuberculosis and dies from the tuberculosis due to Micah making him weak in his final minutes

john marston

 he is the main character in the epilogue he is known for having a wife and kid jack Marston he is also on of Arthur best friends and also being loyal to the group of outlaws

Dutch Van der linde

he is the leader of the group and he is known for always having a plan to get more money but he has bee loosing it ever since the big bank heist in black water and he has been searching for enough money to go to Tahiti

Lenny summers

lenny is a 16 year old who joined the gang recently and he is known for always being positive and for the mission lennny which you and him get drunk and you need to find him he passes away a while after in the mission ''Banking, The Old American Art'' where you two are on a roof then he runs forward and he gets killed by a shotgun 

uncle 

uncle has lumbago and dosent really do anything but he is extremely funny and he gets alost skinned alive in the epilouge while john is away and then has to be saved

pearson 

he is apart of the gang he is known for cooking for the whole gang during the full game he never dies during the game and he is in one of the first five missions where you have to learn how to skin animals and how to bring food to the camp to feed everybody

bill 

he is a 33 year old man who is in the main game he is normally in bank heists as back up and he always sticks around near the gang he does not really do much in the main game he is basically a background character

Abagail 

in the game she is john Marston wife and jack Marston mother she is also never killed during the main game but in the epilouge you as injohn marston have to build a house for you and abagail and jack plus unkle

Sadie Adler 

is a character that you rescue in the first mission that you do and she stays with the group after that she is late 20 Earle 30s she is also in the epilogue she is known for trying to start problems with everbody

Micah

during the time you are playing as Arthur Morgan the character Micah bell disturbs arthur all through out the game and later in the game you find out he has been ratting you and the gang out to the police and other people tying to over through you and the gang he is also known as the rat he is killed by john Marston at the age of 47

jack marston

he is a four year old kid who's parents are john and Abagail Marston he is knows for playing in the sand and making things and one of the really popular missions ''The American Inferno, Burnt Out'' is where jack goes missing and you burn down a house looking for him and turns out hes being held by angelo bronte in a later mission where you have to go search for him
