Thomas Mann's parents leave and he host the party at his house it was also his birthday the day of the party his friend costa convinced him follow through with the party because he was going to cancel he also went through a few hardships throughout the whole movie out of all characters he probably had the most.

Oliver Cooper also know as Costa in Project X basically ran the party even though it wasn't t his house he caused a lot of the things to happen he was also the one to get a lot of people to got to the party. 

Jonathan Brown is kind of a side character he doesn't really do much throughout the whole film he's just kind of there sometimes.

Alexis Knapp is the girl everyone wants to be with at the party she is also kind of a side character and a causes one of the big issues that happens with Thomas causing Kirby not to talk to him for the rest of the night.

Kirby Blanton likes Thomas and Thomas likes her as well they confess there feelings for each other in the film but shortly after they do this she catches Thomas with Alexis.

Brady Hender is one of the bodyguard's he stands outside to make sure nobody gets in that wasn't invited/a freshman.
