Overview of Moana 1 

Moana is a  Disney movie that was released in 2016. The movie is about a girl named Moana who has a special connection with the ocean. Ever since she was a little girl the ocean has tried to pull her in to sail across the reef. However her father the chief of the Island has a rule where no body can go beyond the reef. Moana is a chief in training for when her dad retires but all while this is happening a problem approaches the island. This problem happens when Maui a Demi God steals the heart of Tefiti and it releases a villain called Tayka that burns and destroys the islands. Moana's grandma knows a lot about this topic and shares it with Moana. Along with sharing the topic about Tayka Moana's grandma also shows Moana how her ancestors used to sail across to different islands. This makes Moana want to sail even more. Unfortunately Moana's grandma dies but she had the heart of Tefiti so right before she passes she gives it to Moana and tells her to get Maui and sail across the sea for him to restore the heart of Tefiti. So Moana goes on the dangerous journey without her family knowing to help her island and defeat Tayka in honor of her grandma.
