Moana

Moana is the main character of the movie. She is a teenager who has grown up on an island her whole life. She is in training to become the chief of the island. Also Moana loves the ocean and loves the idea to sail. She wants to learn how to sail so she can go on her own adventure and save her island. 

Maui

Maui is a Demi God who doesn't die. He never has had a family so he got adopted by Demi Gods. These Demi Gods gave Maui a special hook that allows him to transform into any animal he wants. This hook has become apart of who he is.  Also this helps him fight off many villains. Muai is stubborn but overall he just wants to help people.

Sina ( Moana's Mom )

Sina is the wife of the chief . She is kinda and helpful to everyone. She always makes sure the island is running smoothly and happily. Sina is always there for when the people on the island need her. She is always willing to help and makes sure everyone is happy. 

Tui ( Moana's Dad )

Tui is the chief of the island. He is kind but mostly stubborn. His stubborness can be a good thing at times. His main goal is to keep everyone in the reef of the island so no body get's hurt.  However some of his islanders want to sail but he makes sure they don't so they stay safe.

Tala ( Moana's Grandma )

Tala is Moana's grandma. She is known as the crazy lady on the island but in reality she is just in love with dancing by the ocean. She is very energetic at sometimes and is always happy. Overall she is the person that is in love with the island the most even though she is older than everyone.

Te-Ka

Te-Ka is a villain who was created because she is missing her heart which is called the heart of Tefiti. This villian was Tefiti but she transformed into Te-Ka once her heart was stolen.  She is very stubborn and confused because she doesn't know where her heart is. Now she's angry because it's been missing for months so she starts burning the islands in hopes to find it.

Tefiti

Tefiti is the goddess of the islands. She cares for all islands making sure they are healthy and well. Tefiti is an island herself but she sleeps for most of the time. Her green magical heart is what makes the plants grow and the islands have food and be healthy.

Hei-Hei

Hei-Hei is a rooster from the island that is funny and makes the adventure entertaining. Sometimes he can cause chaos but he is still a lovable pet. He helps the best he can because after all he is a rooster and is sometimes clueless. With him being clueless he does help save the heart of Tefiti from being stolen.
