Howl's Moving Castle is a fantasy, adventure film, made by Hayao Miyazaki, about a young woman named Sophie Hatter in the town of Market Chipping. As the eldest daughter of her family, Sophie is destined to work at her family's hat shop for rest of her life while her younger sisters go explore the world. But that all changes when one day an elegant woman, who is actually an old sorceress, turns Sophie into an old lady! When Sophie realizes her new predicament, she runs away and into the hills of Ingary where she stumbles upon a moving castle belonging to the infamous Howl Pendragon; a man known for eating the hearts of young woman. Luckily for Sophie, she doesn't have to worry about that, and is able to stay in Howl's castle as his housekeeper. Now Sophie must find a way to undo her curse, help a fire demon break from his contract, and discover the secrets of this mysterious Howl.
