Season one is by far a fan favorite. It showcases the main  characters motives and their relationships and is far more complex and juicy then the others. This season creates suspense and longing for more seasons. It showcases the characters and creates the alter ego of the mysterious gossip girl. Season one also creates a new sense of drama in peoples lives. These six people were all trust funded spoiled teenagers and the first season shows only some of the development that the characters start to show.

Season two is one of the most loved seasons of the show. This is because of its peak drama and character development. Especially for Blair and Chuck. Chuck and Blair are wanting to start a relationship even though Blair is still dating Nate. This creates drama and ensues the on again off again will they wont they relationship of Blair and Chuck.  Blair also faces rejection from Yale her dream school while Serena get accepted into her dream school and Blairs dream school. 

Season three is portrayed with peak storylines these are frequently mentioned as being the most entertaining of seasons. Including the finally which left viewers wanting more. It starts with some of the characters moving to college. While Serena and Nate are taking a gap year to deciding their futures. Blair is moving to NYU which leads Jenny in charge of being the new queen B. And on top of all of this Serenas farther who hasn't visited since she was a kid. This leads to drama and romance issuing.
