This is the main character in the movie she is not a normal girl she is much smarter and  way more indepedant then most girls in her school, she is always says whats on her mind no matter what people think or say. 

This is the sister tor Kat. She is very outgoing and wants to live a fun teen life but her dad is very strick which makes her no be able to do all of the fun stuff she wants to be able to.

Joey is the guy who is in love with Bianca and he will do whatever it takes to go on a date with her. Joey thinks he is the best in the school and has a very big ego. He also is like the school bully and jock. 

Patrick is the new kid in school, he had just moved there the same year the movie was filmed. Patrick is just like Kat, He does not care what people say about him. People are scared of him just like people are scared of Kat.  

Walter is the very stricked  father who hates to see his children make stupid mistakes and what he hates more than anything is seeing his girls with boy. 

Cameron james is a boy who really likes Bianca and wants to date her, he is the person who set the plan with Kat and partick. He is not as popular as Joey but he is not one of the "werid kids" not many people know his name, not even bianca, well at least when she first met him
