Flexible Scheduling Opportunities
Regular Virtual Face-to-Face Meetings with the Teacher and VLA Class
Students will be issued a District Chromebook to complete their online assignments
Students who attend the full-time/full-year virtual program will be taught by teachers assigned to the virtual learning academy, not by teachers in the students’ home school.
The virtual academy is being designed as a full-time only, full-year option for K-8 students.
If your student has an active IEP or 504 Plan, a transition meeting will need to occur with the current school team prior to the student’s acceptance to VLA to ensure that it can offer the appropriate services.
The EWCSD Virtual Learning Academy is an independent study program. Student attendance is required and will be monitored based upon amount of time logged into the program and work completed.
